Interesting article about thoughts from science about the cosmic microwave background.

Scientist claims lop-sided distribution may point to where universe came from, and why time is linear.
Enjoy.

There are a number of theories that suggest this kind of thing. Steven Hawings also subscribes to the idea. One theory is generally referred to and the big bounce and may have happened many times in a series of big bangs/big crunches.

Here is one of many articles for you to look at.

And another

Enjoy

A very interesting and thought provoking article. Thank you. The more I read and learn about cosmology and quantum physics the more fascinating it becomes. My knowledge is very basic but I have to say that multiple universe theories make an intuitive kind of sense to me.

Where did the matter come from that caused the "Big Bang"
Matter doesnt just appear...

Where did the 1st atom come from?

God did create everything like he said.

There was a theory around a while ago, to do with quatum mechanics; the split-universe theory. That at every moment of time, the universe would split into the amount of outcomes for every event. A huge branching fractal of a universe. It was grand, and it was pretty mystic. Got my spine tingling, anyway.
