Another worrying sign whatever the reason - but if its from the pyrates on the ocean floor then we are in for big trouble and soon.

I would say probably a bit off all sources permafrost/ pyrates.

And of course this just accelerates the whole warming cycle paradoxically perhaps leading to an ice age triggered by the already weakening gulf stream grinding to a halt.

Lets hope not anyway.
