Pacific Ocean Acidity Up In North America - Researchers

snippet: An international team of scientists surveying the waters of the continental shelf off the West Coast of North America has discovered for the first time high levels of acidified ocean water within 20 miles of the shoreline, raising concern for marine ecosystems from Canada to Mexico.

I found this article disturbing, we expect the oceans to always yeild us food and possibly supply us water ( given the perfection of extracting salt is soon discovered) but it is turning sour now. What else is going to happen to our fragile eco-system? Seems like this old earth is getting tired of us!
