Darwin Award Nominees

No real conspiracy here, other than reporting on the success of the "dumbing down" of man in general. I thought we could get some macabe humor in here for a change of pace. I contemplated putting this in the Survival forum; examples of things not to do... so, here are two mid-May Darwin Award Nominees... the second one is surely to win awards of the highest esteem at the end of the year...

Man uses gun for backscratcher, shoots himself

Mr. Espinal went back and told his buddies that he shot himself. “They didn’t believe him until they saw the blood coming down his back,” Lt. Dean said.

Mr. Espinal was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.

Drum-roll please...

Man dies in spitting contest plunge

The daily Blick said the 29-year-old man took a run-up from inside the room so he could spit further, but lost his balance and plummeted 6.4m to the street below.

He died in hospital.

Ladies and gentlemen... we may have a winner for May!! (only 10 days left... fingers crossed and spit for lu..c..k... oh... yah... sorry )

One has to wonder how he did that, don't you need to pull the hammer back as well as the trigger afterwards to set a revolver off? And why do it with a loaded one, thats just really stupid.
