Took a nap this afternoon and as I was waking up I had this little dream. There was a poem going through my head very fast and pictures too. I woke up cause somebody called, then I remembered I had this dream. I attempted to piece it back together as best I could, hope you like it.

It was a time later on
When things got tense
The people found a love
They'd never dream amiss

His name would never matter
His life would not make proud
He quieted the clatter
Some praised him aloud.

The questioners that came to him
Said how will you succeed?
Success was just a dream to him
They could not make him bleed.

And after they'd exhausted themselves
And only left with doubt.
They angered the crowds against him
And he gave it much thought.

But for their petty foolishness he did not care
It was only love for which he yearned.
They found that they'd no longer dare
With questions of his own the tables turned.

"I pray that you understand my friends
Humility is real
It won't attack, only defends
And if I didn't have it,
you'd know just how I feel"

"How will you save all the spots
If none are meant to be used
The people are glad to have me
Are dreams and hopes infused?"

"Or maybe you dream of the past
Much like I used to do
Maybe you see a square
Well it's coming down to you."

Humility is the only way
To handle the madness of love
Thrown against you from all sides
From people who stand above

And so he continued...

"How will you answer to the test
That falsely led you here
To this quiet place above the rest
Which falsely The meek fear?"

"It wouldn't hurt to drop your tally
And see till you see no more
then meet us down here in the valley
If you've truly opened this door."

And when he got through
Some laughed, some cried
Some smiled and were inspired too
When they saw that this fool
had nothing to hide.

Bravo Novise. I had to read it three times before I caught all the subtleties. Some powerful wisdoms there.
Thank you

chunkypunkylisa, nice name

I imagine that if you appreciate my writing here, You have a good mind for understanding and writing.

That you made sense of my "untrained" writing, and understanding me Just says to me that you probably have good potential for writing!

If I showed this to the average person, they'd be bored and start looking for their Ipod and cell phone before they got through the first lines.

Humility is a good thing, you seem to have plenty of it! Just don't underestimate yourself

Thankyou!
