Bush administration makes last-minute food aid plea

KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 16 (Reuters) - The Bush administration warned lawmakers on Wednesday they would snatch food out of the mouths of millions if they approve restrictive rules for U.S. food aid in the new farm bill.

The need for flexible rules for purchasing and meting out aid, senior officials said at a food aid conference in Kansas City, is all the more crucial as the world comes to grips with a deepening food crisis.

I should mention that the President's Niece Lauren Bush is a spokesperson for the World Food Programme.

One thing this has made me think about, are those on the Far Left, people like Al Gore, do they want people to die? Do they think we should just sit back and let nature take its course and commit "Genocide by Negligence"?

When we the United States, the most prosperous nation on the earth, can easily help those who need it. We should do what we can to help till we are physically unable. We can't just give up on millions of people, families, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters.

Yes the planet is overpopulated but there are far more humane methods of addressing this than causing Genocide by being negligent.
