Goals and achievemnts

Just as a way to learn more about members here I thought it would be fun to learn and share each others personal goals and achievements.

Some of my current goals or activites involving my goals are...

Learning to play the violin
Becoming debt free
Start a new business
Ballroom dancing
Hike the appalacian trial
Build a tree house
Read more
Write more often

I have now been taking guitar lessons for over 2 months, and my instructor says that I'm doing very well.

If I maintain my current discipline, I will be debt free by the time I'm 40! (16 months)

In 2006 I went through a divorce, so I decided to send my career in a different direction. I got a new job with a hefty increase. I was promoted after my 1st year, and just received my first performance review which was a 5.9 on a scale of 1-7. 6 & 7's are virtually unheard of, so it was awesome! A 2% percent raise and my first ever bonus to be paid on this Tuesday.

Goals are good, and even better when achieved. Life is getting better, and maybe someday I can even be proud of myself again.
