I'm looking to upgrade my photoediting software and I want to find a new program ala freeware.
What are you using and where can I get it.

I'm using PhotoSuiteII/III on my other computers, but, I just got a NEW computer and I don't have the disk to PSII/III anymore. So, I need to find the best freeware I can get.

Any pointers?
Cuhail

GIMP is the very best open source image editing software available. It does much the same as Photoshop though they operate differently so I've heard. I've never used it myself but can only assume it will take a lot of time to learn just like photoshop. It's well worth the time investment if you really enjoy working with images.

GIMP is almost as good as photoshop, and it's free. I use it to make my avatars.

edit: whoops, beat me to it.

There is a beta trial run for Adobe Photoshop Express (online Photoshop). And Picnic is also online and free.
Never try them myself, just giving your pointer, hope it helps.
