Who is the father of Jesus?

Hey folks,

Simple put, who is the father of Jesus Christ? Is he the son of Joseph? The son of God? Or, to through a twist into it, is he a bastard child? Was he born due to Mary having an affair perhaps? Given that in those times, you could be killed for that? Was the God talking to her thing just a way to cover her crime? Given that in those times the Lord God was so feared.

Or, perhaps, was he the son of Aliens? Could mary have been abducted from her family and taking on board a UFO and implanted with the seed that would become Jesus?Was the little star that guided the three wise men infact a ufo guiding them to watch over their son?

If you could buy the idea that God could send His spirit to impregnate Mary, you should be able to believe that God could have impregnated Mary with a spem from Joseph.
It may be that the important thing was only the timing.
God needed a Messiah to be born at exactly a certain time and He went ahead and picked out the best sperm from Joseph and made sure that it got the Job done.
It is rediculous to think that God is literaly the father of Jesus.
Jesus was accepted by people who knew him, as being the son of Joseph.
I am sure that he was.
Paul writes that Jesus was brought into this life the same way that we all are.

for those that are less inclined to believe in divine impregnation, i submit that there was a forbidden love. Joseph found out she was pregnant but knew the child couldn't have been his. apparently the people around them also knew it couldn't have been his. so to make it less scandalous they made up the "God did it!" thing.

purely conjecture, but i think it's plausible.

It certainly would not have been impossible for God to fertilize her seed miraculously either, without the help of Joseph. It is possible that Jesus was a sort of; half God. But the Bible does not say for sure.

Jesus was born in the typical way all babies were born. But that does not preclude the idea that Jah took care of the fertilizing.

Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit of GOD.

Joseph was about ready to put her away because of it, until the angel of the Lord told him different.

Matthew 1:18-20
18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
