Even Cowgirls Get The Blues

I will be watching a movie on the Independent Film channel tonight called 'Even Cowgirls Get The Blues.' It stars Uma Thurman. I am looking forward to watching it because Uma Thurman is one of my favorite female actors(Demi Moore and Sandra Bullock being the other two I like a lot). I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they've ever seen tonights movie and what they thought of it. What parts did they think were good and what parts did they think were bad.

This is from a great book by Tom Robbins. I love his work. I haven't seen the movie but the book was awesome. (no I'm not gay)

It's been a long time, but I think the movie is quite poor in comparison to the book.

Uma's oversize hitchiking thumb is quite humorous if I remember correctly.
