It's Opening Day - Boston vs Oakland in Japan

It's opening day for Major League Baseball - in Japan.

Boston Red Sox vs Oakland A's @6:05AM EST at the Tokyo Dome.

For Oakland residents, that's a 3:05AM start!

For Boston, Daisuke Matsuzaka will start. What an honor it must be for him!

Oakland will answer with Joe Blanton.

Pretty good game. Lead went back and forth. In the 10th inning now, Boston up by 2.

Final 6-5 Boston in 10 innings.

Daisuke looked horrible. Couldn't hit the water if he was standing in a rowboat.

Horrible way to wake up for this A's fan.....

Alarm rings, TV turns on, Street gives up lead on a 9th inning solo shot to a nobody, mount a comeback in the bot 10th only to fall 1 hit short.

Could be a long season if this keeps up.
