If today we can look back and say "boy were we stupid back then" just imagine what people will say 100 years from now?

Yes no doubt... This was back in the day when they used lead in paint and gasoline and asbestos for insulation in our homes and buildings... Oh and don't forget all the nuclear bombs we blew up "for testing purposes"... The reason why I posted this video... Just goes to show how stupid we can be...

Oh come on!

Everyone knows you put the explosives inside the animal you want to vaporize.

That was just dumb.

I wonder if everyone just left all the whale parts lying around after, it was bombed!
They should have brought out the lions, tigers and bears to take care of the job!

Tend not to be too many lions tigers and bears near the ocean I am afraid but the seagulls sure probably had a big meal!

I have seen this and man that was hilarious!

"Oh Whatukno" You know I can be sarcastic at times!

I've also seen it, on tv, I believe!

haha, oh boy the lions, tigers and bears, lol...

I think these guys just wanted to blow it up and decided that that was the only way it was going to get taken care of...

Today they'd drag it back into the ocean with a boat and feed it to sharks... I've seen that on TV recently...

But then again just because we can blow something up doesn't me we should... I thought it was funny nobody wanted to cut it up and that was the reason why they weren't going to cut it up... Not that they couldn't just that they didn't want to... lol... So instead lets use high explosives! yay! Oh and the boom scared off any life within 10 miles, so chances are they had to clean everything up...

Yea, after my last post I was thinking that they should have maybe fed it to the Sharks also!

I guess it would depend on how fresh the meat was for anything to have eaten it!

Ya man no problem, I think the video basically proves my point... haha.. Now the question of today is, are we still stupid like this? Will we use our stupidity to just blow up the world? Hopefully not, but who knows... Guess we just need to wait and see...

I don't get it! This dead whale should have been given a proper burial or least be submitted to the medical and scientific community for cross training students at least and find out how the whale died with an autopsy of some sort. Sheesh!

But it was reeking, stinking rotten!!

Besides, it was 1970, they were probably all stoned out of the minds.

There goes those wannabe hillbillies in Oregon trying to "successfully" blow something up without doing it right. Everybody know that you can never have enough fun blowing something up.
