Is there really anyone out there who still believes the United States justification for waging a pre-emptive war on Iraq?
It was a setup.
Plain and simple.
They came into office hearing the threat of a plot to slam airliners into buildings.
Cheney was advised by the energy taskforce, the crisis coming related to oil, and it was crucial to secure a vital source as soon as possible.
Between Cheney and Bush Snr, understanding from their time together in GW1, they knew Iraq's military was non-existent.
They knew saddam was reckless in disposing of his WMD's, and wouldnt be able to provide a 100% accurate assesment of how and where they were disposed
of.
So, they devised
1. Let the attack occur
2. Tell the public Iraq was related to the attack
3. Put forward false evidence showing Iraq still had WMD's
4. Plant the idea that the next attack could utilise saddams wmd's, 911 style.
Thats it, thats all they did..
There never was a TIE between Iraq and Alqaeda
Iraq didnt have any wmd's, but he sure did have a lot of oil, and we sure did have a lot of corporate entites that would just love to get there hands
on some iraqi apple pie.
Wage a war, pushing all corporate entities into Iraq and gaining control of the oil.
It was a SLAM DUNK!
If anyone still presents a case backing up this administration, your either being paid to present false information via public media, .or.....
well thats it.
Because no body could be stupid enough to still follow 'the official line' on their own merrits.
