Native American Shamanism

Does anyone know any good sites for studying Native American Shamanism. I am trying to find a bit of my past, and I am also looking for myself. Any detailed sites (even better if written by Native Americans) would be absolutely marvelous.

Which tribe(s), specifically, first off? I have a bit of Cherokee in me, and I believe some Choctaw, as well. I haven't read anything on the Choctaws yet, and the little I have read about the Cherokees told me what I already knew.

Some good places to try would be the "World" section of your local bookstore, as well as "New Age".

Unfortunately, I am not yet sure. This will be a western tribe, most likely based in the old territories including present day Idaho. I am trying to find that information out so I know for sure.
