In First, N.Y. Judge Allows Gay Divorce

In what appears to be the first ruling of its kind, a New York judge will allow a lesbian couple who married in Canada to sue for divorce.

Though New York does not allow same-sex marriages, a state trial court judge refused to dismiss a divorce and child custody suit brought by a woman, identified only as Beth R., against her former partner Donna M.

Well, tonight seems to be a speculating night for me, but this story is showing a bigger picture. I'm thinking that if NY has no problem divorcing gay couples, then how long will it be before they are marrying gay couples. Of course, I think the homosexuals should be allowed to marry, so they can be as miserable as the rest of the world... hahaha el-oh-el, am I right? If I hear that hack joke one more time I will absolutely choke the putz that says it.

On a side note I've noticed that it's two women getting this divorce and not two men... feel free to make your own misogynistic jokes
