Rising Inflation Creates Unease in Middle East.

AMMAN, Jordan — Even as it enriches Arab rulers, the recent oil-price boom is helping to fuel an extraordinary rise in the cost of food and other basic goods that is squeezing this region’s middle class and setting off strikes, demonstrations and occasional riots from Morocco to the Persian Gulf.

Even as higher oil prices line the pockets of oil rich nations in the Middle East, the effects of Global Inflation has hit basic commodities and have more than doubled prices in many areas: The price increases on food, gas, over such a short period of time has created a perception of mass governmental corruption.

Many of the affected countries are "allies" of the US and may soon have political unrest that could forment negative reaction and mass protest towards the Monarchs, and Oligarchs of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.

The inability of these Governments of adequately subidize their economies, will lead to a breeding ground for potential terrorist and increase the radicalization of their citizens.
