so im 17, new to ATS and i lead a pretty normal life, but even since before i found ATS, ive felt that there has always been something bigger. im not paranoid about all the 2012 predictions, or aliens (though i do believe in them) but more along the lines of that there are people that hold all the power in this world and they dont care anything about you or me. i just want to be prepared and at least have an idea of what to expect in the near future.

i know in my heart that we are all connected, i just dont know how. Also religion has some good morals inbedded in its texts, but i hate that its just another way to control us and make us fearful "sheeple", if you will. i also cant stand how most people that i talk to are so lost in materialism and everyday living that they cant see past their own almost meaningless lives. i feel sometimes that i am more aware than others, and some of my peers agree and say they feel the same as me. i would like my life to continue on normally till the day i die, but i want to help people and become more in touch with my spiritual side. I guess you could say that i want more in my life, cause i am not satisfied with the way the world is or the way it looks like its going.

Everyday that i go to school and i am taught subjects that dont even matter in my view of life. im not saying subjects like english and math dont matter, but history for example, we need to know history to understand the past to make our future better but i dont see anyone using history to make human exsistence any better. i just see more war, more disinformation, and more people willing to live by whatever the government says. If anyone has actually learned from history, then why do we still have wars today if we all know all they do is drain a countries economy, kill millions, and make evil people money?
why do we still live by what other people tell us to, when all they want is to exploit us? And dont even get me started on money, as it really does seem that it is a seduction to humanity. Underground bases being constructed, for what exactly? UFO's and USO's that obviously exist but our government just denies the day away? Even if they did own them, they cant tell their "people" the purpose for them? The NWO and their plans to make us litteral slaves. Planet X and how it will affect our planet.

A lot of random points, i know, and i have others that have been influenced by this site, but i cant help but feel that they are all interconnected somehow. im not depressed or paranoid, just concerned. And what ever happened to just being nice toward one another and not trying to backstab someone new everyday? I just intently feel that all of this is coming to a head and it will be my generation that will have to deal with it, wether we all get exterminated, betrayed, or we fight it, and come out on top. Any replies to any of my points would be greatly apprieciated and i hope no one blames my views and feelings on just me being a teenager.

I am viewing the world just as you are now. i am also 17 and wonder why materialism and money are all humans live to do. i have come to understand that it is human nature to be curious and to want worldly possessions.

unfortunately, when one recieves what they want, they grow bored of it and want another item. if you think about the size of the universe and the billions of billions of stars, we are not much of a superior species. yes we have taken over the planet but all we have really completed is competing with one another just to live a life and wage wars. we have not even stepped foot on a neighboring planet which is not that far in perspect to the size of our universe. humans are corrupt with power and do not care for increasing ones knowledge. i also agree that a lot of education is corrupt. in our school we are taught skills that we will need in the work force and nothing that can aid us in the furhter understanding of our existence. most of the students at my school only go to school becuase they are forced to and all they care about is the new hit song that came out or the next great style started by a rapper. and yes, education and knowledge are separate things.

i am religious which teaches mostly against science but i have come to believe that religion and science are tied together and that maybe God works in that way so we can understand it.

i believe we have stopped in the progression of our species and that most great leaders are only focused on gaining power and money and hoping that their name will last in history. the majority of people only want to have a good time and experience life without attempting to better themselves one way or another.

so as far as Earth is going, we are all going to miserably fail and destroy one another because of the hatred that is distilled between us. as far as i can tell, the US is going to be the first superpower to fall because of its great increase in population and even greater stupidity. i mean nothing bad about the US (i am a citizen) but we have no feelings for anything else on this planet or even ourselves. we are just trying to stay on top while millions commit crimes (because of materialism and hatred.) as far as the future looks, i am afraid of what is going to happen when today's youth will become the business leaders of tomorrow. and i am not sure if it is possible to solve these issues. we need to stop looking in the past and the present, but look to the future.

You have a very interesting out look on everything, but through out our time as a species we have had negitive actions. With those actions came power, greed, and control of what ever they wanted. Unfortunatly our brains are wired through repetivness, which when activated gives us chemical releases in our body that fulfills our cravings of those feelings. I hope i somewhat make sense here but now i'll get into religion.lol. this should be the fun part.

Us as spirits do have an age till we (Spirits) move on to the next realm or possibly acually die and cease to exsist. But the world is governed by the spirits of the old. The old spirits and new spirits collide and don't get along. (example: protesters vs government) But now the new spirits are slowly becoming more advance, smarter and more populated than the old. There is a change on the way whether it's the whole 2012 thing or not things will change in time. The old don't want to lose power they will corrupt the new spirits in hopes of holding onto there legacy of the planet that they have created. There legacy has gone off coarse which they don't want to face but will try and correct it with there corruptness still there. But "God " if you want to call it that gave us "Free Will", therefore there will be mistakes and from there we have to evolve. Whether it be through new eras of spirits or through self evolution. Similar to what you are feeling but possibly through the help of a newer spirit, or not.

Now as i was saying in the begining about the brain firing off signals that flow through patterns we created through creatures of habit. Now possibly it effects the way our spirit reacts when they pass through the other side.(Re-encarnation).

Just my thought, hopefully there'll be alot of interesting views to read. I'll flag it in hopes of seeing some interesting reads.

When i try to put all those NWO and other conspiracy theories behind and just live my lif0e like a "normal" every day kid ,I just can't something is making me go back to ATS and read some posts and see the opinions of other people and stuff.I can't say I'm an exeptional human being .So if I'm not speacial or anything then this means that other people are like me.If other people are like me , they are hungry for knowledge too.And because we all want to know more we as a race should still be able to improve

And about that thing the hatred betwen us .I have a theory .Hm i don't know if anyone else have came up with it ,but anyways I think we should help everyone that we can and expect them to help others too.Because I think the main reason why people are doing bad things is because others treated them bad. It's like in that movie (can't remember the name right now).

And by the way I'm sorry if i went off topic , if my English was lame,if my thoughts weren't so genuine . This is my first reply here hope I'll make more sence next time . Just know this that this is 100% how i feel about everything.

Welcome to the program "Ur Planet" subcatagory "What comes Next".

Your request "What comes after the end of the world?"

ANSWER:...

According to unified mythological understandings of this planet, it was set a sunder and misaligned in spiritual enbodyment through a rebelion of caretakers and workers for the comon "good". This can be thought of as a retardation of the planets population. However and also that this planet is a exploration into new and useful creature reality one might assume this all to be a larger part of the idealistic undertakings of the clockmaker father of all.

The what comes next is the revealing of universal understandings common to all life forms in the hopes to reel in the collective mindset of the beings to realign the reality factor.

Unity though overlordship and in the understanding that the common norm of the planet leads to drastic failures will alow for each being to gain understanding of their own relationship, relationships and relation to the larger whole.

In less then 20 years from the end point of the world will this world look like a whole new place. In such a way that if you were to take someone without understanding, and in placement within a time machiene sending only a short 20 years into the future, their first thoughts upon leaving would be that you sent them so far into the future they'd have a major shock to find out the real time.

Im 17 too, maybe at this age we have a more clear view on the world. We are looking into what we are about to be cast into.

I do not want to enter the capitalist, materialist world that everyman enters during their life. I do not want to live to work, to pay to die... money as it seems is the root of all these problems.

With the church now becoming less important and losing its tight grip over humanity a new adversary faces us, government, law and money.

Something interesting, Churches were once places of worship and power and wealth with beautiful decoration inside of them. You go into a law firm building, or a government building and what do you see? Glamor of these church like proportions, its like money is our new religion and the lawyers, the government people are like the bishops.

The way we are going is in a totally wrong direction, I believe that the only hope for humanity would be communism, however It is impossible due to the fact that people cannot understand that we dont need money. People need to evolve to a state of mind ready for such a world, the world will change and i believe a better kind of human will come out. communism is only achievable through an entire human acceptance on a global scale.

We can work our way towards this, we are evolving right now, technology is becoming bettered allowing distanced communication, the world has become much smaller. We are building to a mass extinction event which involves capitalists.. After which I believe we can live in peace and harmony

Isn't that interesting how the religious blah blah about how judgment day will leave us in peace is reflected in my hypothesis, thats something to think about.

A very bloody interesting topic dude, I think everyone has their own ideas of what will happen in the future.. who knows what will happen but I think it is agreed it will be large and change a lot of things.

I liked that because i feel that is extremely true.
I hate how the world has become entirely about money, the whole sense of togetherness seems to have disappeared.
To use an example, i was recently in London and my mum who lived there kept commenting on the fact that it hasnt got that special buzz about it anymore, it's not as exciting as it was back when she lived there. Everything has become a race to the top, who can be the best, who can be the most successful. There's no individuality anymore.

Everyone has been conditioned to just stick to the whole path that everyone else is following
- go to school
- pass exams
- get a good job
- find a partner
- get married
- buy a house
- have kids (if applicable)

We'll have no need to fear robots as we are becomming them.
monotonous back-stabbing, power-hungry beings.

But as they say : Win the rat-race, and you're still a rat.

This money driven world is only going to get worse in my opinion.
And the end of the world isnt going to come as a biblical revelation or anything else it will be completely man-made, and will most probably be the consequence of one nation trying to be more macho that another by flexing it's weaponary muscles.

I'm 18 now and i do agree with the statement that we view the world differently. i think our minds are going through a changing process along with the rest of our bodies (not to sound too like a sex education teacher haha) where we are trying to figure everything out, this may just be one factor that is making our minds more open. As we are still making decisions about things that could change our life.
I think every kid my age or there abouts should be pleased with themselves for starting early and trying to discover the real truths about the world young. Instead of living in blissfull ignorance like so many other people.

I suppose ATS is our way of trying to get out of the cycle.

I once read a book called straw dogs. In this there was a suggestion that even though we have had terrible calamities in our history (concentration camps, genocides, 9/11 etc) we need them to move forward, a kind of evolution if you will?
i find that thought extremely disturbing, but it does highlight a good point.
you can only learn from your mistakes. And we will most certainly learn from ours.
I hope lol.

I hope i havent gone off topic at all, i was just inspired to write something.

I highl agree that learning from our mistakes is a good thing, however what is happening in America now somewhat reflects the early stages of Nazi Germany with the Patriots act after 9/11 in ways reflecting the whole Reichstag fire leading to the enabling act and persecution of the Socialist parties.

I guess that shows some people learn from the past but use it in an evil way.

The younger generations as us however, do seem to be learning and opening our eyes, look what ignorance has let happen and may continue to let happen. Even if a government can Coerce the people through fear i believe anything can be achieved through full opposition from almost every member of the public.

We through this and just being able to talk to each other more freely can spread opinion and truth, something that will never now in the world be possible to take from us.

We are understanding truly the danger of ignorance, a mass uprising from the good people will happen eventually, but maybe not for decades the way the world is going on.

At this point in history, humanity is a t a cross roads. Everyone is terrified of the NWO and what it may bring... I say that the ultimate answer to that question is dependent upon the collective consciousness of humanity.

When I look at the world today, I see the present world system crumbling, Now, in the eyes of someone such as myself that is almost a rejoiceful thing. However, the masses are terrified. Why? Simple. They don't understand.

History has taught us many lessons. However, they are lessons that have been unlearned by the collective consciousness of man. We are reaching a point to where there will be no more excuses for those who refuse to make that spiritual step into the world that is developing right before your very eyes.

Materialism...
In my opinion, Rene Descartes was the worse person to ever cast a single shoe print into the soil of the earth.. Cartesian philosophy has done more harm to the spiritual body of man, then any other form of ideology in existence.

However, soon, all of that shall fall by the wayside and be no more.

I'm always disappointed when I hear things like this. Communism isn't the only alternative to modern capitalism (Agorism and true free-market economics come to mind). You even say yourself that communism would only work "through an entire human acceptance on a global scale." Basically, that communism would be successful when and if humans stop acting like, well, humans.

When solutions depend on realities that don't exist, then all we're really doing is wishful thinking.

Well the age I am I have only opened my eyes to different types of government, i would actually very much like to look at others instead of become closed minded, I will look into this Agorism, Cheers man for pointing me towards something to better my knowledge

Well we also view humans as a something that has been painted before us, maybe evolution will change our nature, it has changed much over the years into more accepting race and gender and human rights so to speak, so who knows wat next will make us not human....

If a 'God' suposedly created man in the image of himself would he not deem our un godly characteristics ungodly.. thts slightly off topic but oh well lol

you would naturally think that an advanced organism like humans would have found a much better way to coexist on their planet without letting things like money stop them from any progress.
I guess that is assuming everyone looked at the planet and everyone in it as a whole rather than individual lives.
Its kind of like the cells in a body deciding to go off and do their own thing rather that further the evolution.
Then I look back at the whole, and I see the place for all the "misplacedness" anywhere, its the yin that makes the yang and vice versa.
I would have to agree with 'Incarnated' about rapid evolution, it just seems like the minds that are open these days are so much more naturally open, and at much younger ages.
I turn 25 this year and ever since I was put into school I sensed that offness that there is in teaching about the material world without balance for the spiritual nature of all things.
I never had religion in my life as a child, but in analyzing from a purely scientific point of skepticism, I have found that you just simply cannot have one without the other without being a zombie or slave to either. whatever those terms mean.

The New Libertarian Manifesto, by Samuel Edward Konkin III is probably the best introduction (hell, probably the only introduction) to Agorist thought. Although, for my two cents, if you're really interested in government theory/social politics, may I recommend Anarchy, State, and Utopia, by Robert Nozick. Personally, I think it's a brilliant read.

But back to the original topic, I just think that every generation thinks the way that the OP and all of us do. Just due to the nature of time, life, the universe, and everything every generation finds itself at a crossroads, we're always at this juncture of a nostalgic past and an unknown future, facing bewildering new technologies, changing social mores and values, our own mortality - all of these things contribute to this overwhelming sense of disnechantment and disillusionment.

Not that you're wrong, per se, for feeling like you do - it's just that I don't think it's as unique to our point in history as we'd like to think.

What comes after the end of the world? The next day.

I find it sort of funny when I hear a seventeen year old say they know better. I remember when I was seventeen, about three years ago, and I thought the same, I figured we were crap as well. Since then I've spent a good deal of time learning. Yeah, we aren't perfect by any means, but there is good in us. You arn't anymore aware simply because you are a teenager. You're a teenager, between being adult and a kid.

no one said that teenagers know better than anyone else. we are just sharing our thoughts and feelings in where we believe the world is heading. it is true we may be wrong and human progression is going well but we are just sharing what we see in the world today. i hope i am able to learn more about this and gain more intellect about these issues as i go on in my life.
