This is the claim of an ex F1 race car engineer.
He has built a revolutionary engine that can run on compressed gas.
The car is going into production next year and could sell for as little as £2500.
How long before he gets a bullet in the head?

This sounds fantastic.

The only question is why they can't get these gamn things to look good.

I drive a Mini Cooper D because it looks good and is fairly environmentally friendly - as reflected in £35 quid a year road tax. If they could put these engines in something that looked half decent I'd buy one. Until then - i'm afraid it's a no.

As far as a bullet through the head goes...I hope the guy doesn't get it.

Shallow I may be. Unstylish - certainly not.

Fingers crossed though.

It seems they go out of their way to design eco friendly cars ugly.
If you stuck that engine in a ford focus everyone would buy it.
But, even with those looks, i,m sure alot of people will buy.
Being able to drive the length of the country for a few pounds seems like heaven, but i,m sure the gov can tax it somehow.

ahh 125 miles one tha tsmall amount would be great... but sadly the gas companies would never allow this because it would mean less for them. we will run out of oil before the GOVT and oil companies let this stuff happen. screw the world.. its made up of a bunch of thieves
