Look here at the Internet Traffic Report, it shows Iran completly offline.

Could this be the run up to attack-take down communications..............??

Its not just Iran.

Industry experts are blaming damage to two undersea cables but it is not known what caused the damage.

The Middle East losing it's main connection to the outside world?

Oh boy... I'll try not to be too skeptical of any mainstream explanations for that
Yes, I'm sure their massive 8 foot wide deep sea mainlines got 'kinked' like a water hose or something. Better just let them investigate.
