There was one overarching takeaway from U.S. Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey's testimony this week before the Senate Judiciary Committee: When it comes to waterboarding and other extreme interrogation techniques, the ends justify the means.

Waterboarding involves strapping a person down a pouring water over his cloth-covered face to create the sensation of drowning.

Waterboarding is variously characterized as a powerful tool and a symbol of excess in the nation’s fight against terrorists. But just what is waterboarding, and where does it fit in the arsenal of coercive interrogation techniques?

Is it really banned or still used by the CIA?

WOO I didn’t know the CIA might still be using waterboarding tactics to make terrorists spew out their scum plans. They should make it legal and its not as ‘dangerous’ as some sensitive people make it out sometimes. Its one of the best tactics without causing too much body harm.

It will make them feel like they are drowning in deep blue see with sharks around them
