Can't I just pay for something at Best Buy without all the schtick???

"We're offering this and that!" No thank you. "Would you be interested in this or that?" No thank you. "Right now we're running a limited time offer......". Really, I'm not interested. "Also......".

Can't there be a "no-schtick" checkout line?

Oh, is that all? Doesn't the Best Buy you shop at also hit you up for your phone number and zip code too?

I will agree with you, going through the check out lines is frustrating, but have you ever tried to return anything? It's worse, if you can imagine!

My favourite has got to be..

"Do you have a loyalty card sir?"

me "nope"

"Would you like one?"

me "nope"

"It can save you 5% off your bill!"

me "nope"

"Are you sure sir?"
