New Day of the Dead remake trailer

Man I hope they don't screw that movie up. I love the "... of the Dead" series, so it's hard to see Nick Cannon being in a good remake. At least the Zombies looked pretty cool

Holy crap those zombies were fricken bad eh? Plus they seem to rot almost immediately after death... SO much for slow retarded zombies...

I think I'll just wait for Romeros Diary of the Dead instead.
I just don't like athletic zombies.

I'm so sick of the "super zombie" bull#. What's so great about the old movies was the tension and build up. Now we have super zombies in every single movie jumping out of planes, shooting guns, and running as fast as cars. Lame, lame, lame.

Is this the sequel to Dawn Of The Dead I've been waiting for ?
Looks like it may be a disaster but I'll hold off on my conclusion til I see it.

Did these director's make the first one ?

ImJaded, the original Day of the Dead came out in '85.. These guys did not do the first one.

These guys did haloween h2o and Final destination...some of the worst movies ever in the horror genre..if you ask me

the whole final destination series is cheesy garbage

this new remake is going to be cheesy garbage.

Oh my god! I've just finished watching this steaming pile of excrement.
I could just about put up with athletic zombies but then they had them running up walls and along ceilings and then to top it all a VEGETARIAN zombie.
The writers, producers, director the whole crew need to be knee capped and left for Romeros shuffling zombies to devour.
This is Day of the Dead in name only it has nothing what so ever in common with Romeros classic at least the remake of Dawn of the Dead kept some elements of the original.
Avoid like the plague

The original can not be remade, it's a classic in it's own right for Zombie lovers. :bash:

This cannot be called a remake as it contains none of the original story line.
If anything it is very poor rip off of Resident Evil with the Zombies being created by the release of a man made virus.
And don't get me started on the CGI blood

Wait!Why oh why did anyone make this horrible movie?
This shouldnt even bare the name"Day of the Dead".
It was nothing like it.
It should be called I am Legend 28 weeks later and Resident Evil(as the above poster mentioned).
It had a premise of a virus(created by the government,that went wrong,where have I heard this before?)and it gets unleashed on a unsuspecting town.
Thats where it turns to poo poo.
From the Matrix like zombies that can climb on ceilings,too the ultra flamable zombies,this movie is all outta whack.
And ya gota love how it takes seconds to become a zombie.
This film is a waste of time.
It comes with poor acting,awful one liners and routine gore.
This is nothing more than a ripoff of other movies squashed together to become a heaping pile of dung.
Save your time and avoid watching this waste of film.
You would be better off watching snails hump.
