Today is the first day to order your gov. issued dig to analogue coupons

Go to www.DTV2009.gov
A short one page form, name, address etc. They will send out your two free 40 dollar coupons for your dig to anlogue coupons. Must be redeemed within 90 days. Boxes are slated for stores in FEb/March '08. If you are a tightwad like me that is waiting for HD lcd's to come down even more this will be your conversion until then. Oh, and Happy New Year to all.

Just remember, you only need this if your tv does not have a digital tuner, and if you only get local channels through an aerial antenna/rabbit ears and the like.

If you have cable or dish, it's not needed.

Even if you have cable, getting a converter might be a plus for that extra room. Digital signal seems to be a little cleaner and you might get a few extra channels, w/o the cable box.
