So long polar bears/Global Warming...

Has anyone seen this PHOTO? It is so heartbreaking to see this photographic evidence, while people such as Pope Benedict condemn those bringing this matter to light and accuses them of being alarmists.

I believe the oh so popular images of polar bears on nearly melted ice are actually taken during the summer when the ice naturally melts anyway.

'Polars bears on the brink? Don't you believe it'

For a while, it became a powerful symbol of the perils of global warming - until it was revealed to have been taken three years ago and during the height of summer.

The whole climate change issue is riddled with half truths and unproven information, I like to take the middle ground on the issue that man is contributing slightly to a naturally occurring climate change.
