i was laying in bed last night and i had trouble falling asleep so i was just thinking about things. mostly the stuff we talk about on here.
there has been lots of talk of cloning and such with the new breakthroughs.

so for this thread, lets say that 'they' could miniaturize any animal down to say the size of a small house cat. few lbs at most..

there are already people that keep lions and exotics like this...
there is a guy in columbia station(ohio) that has a damn jungle at his joint. crazy stuff.

-------

so, would you?
i think it would be cool to have maybe an elephant or a giraffe that was only the size of say, a boston terrier. a silverback gorilla the size of a toy fox terrier....

pretty trippy eh?

a damn jaguar or some insane cat reduced down to the size of a regular house cat...

that would be cool.

edit*
i meant to put this in chit chat....
sorry.
could a mod move it for me please

I'd keep a miniature whale the size of a carp in a swimming pool.

I would miniaturize a Grizzly bear. That way I could kick it's butt, and feel all manly and stuff. And like i could walk into a bar and say:
"Yeah, that's right, I wrestled a Grizzly bear, and I showed him who was boss."

Man I want a miniature Grizzly Bear!

dude, i did not even think of fish....as you know, i am a fish maniac....
i still want my mini gorilla but i would love to miniaturize some fish and keep em here.

i was thinking about how cool would it be to make them even smaller?
lik if you wanted a gorilla, you could miniaturize one to the sizer of like a cup...mabe 5-6 inches tall and only weighs a few ounces.
maybe an orangutan....same deal..you could just hold em and let em chill in your pocket..

an elephant the size of the smallest toy dog breed there is.

but the FISH....you're the man....

Technically a whale isn't a fish, but a whale shark is. And since they eat vegetation, a miniature whale shark can also double as the pool cleaner

Another one: how about a miniature horse the size of a hamster. It would be fascinating to see one run on a hamster wheel

bison the size of your common squirrell

damn this would be cool.
what about going the other way too?

for example, take your fav dog breed and make em the size of a horse.

i think i would like to have about a 5 inch orangutan that i could take with me...maybe about 10 inches....thats better...he could roll with me and chill on my shoulder...
that would be cool

I would have a clydesdale myself. Can you imagine how easy it would be to brush one of those down? Considering that I'm only 5'4" I wouldn't need a step ladder.

Cool idea!

clydsdale is a good one.

what about some serious BEASTS like a crocodile or a rhino...say we could mini them to a few inches and keep them in a 5 gallon plastic tank?
cool eh? they'd have plenty of room to roam...

a mini manatee in your tank...
