ATLANTA (Reuters) - NFL star Michael Vick turned himself in on Monday to begin serving his prison time for helping to run a dogfighting ring, a U.S. Marshal said, although he is not due to be sentenced until December 10.

I'm glad this piece of *snip snip* is going to jail early.

Personally, I would rather have seen him tied up and left to the pitbulls that managed to survive his little "kennel".

The only thing that worries me with this is him possibly getting out early because of who he is. However, it seems like the prosecutors are trying to stick it to him so let's hope they are successful and the sentencing judge views him as someone to make an example out of.

I have NEVER liked Michael Vick because of his piss poor attitude and extreme cockiness. However, when I heard about the dogfighting, that easily tripled my distaste for him.

While I still feel he won't get the punishment he deserves, I certainly hope that he spends the rest of his days penniless.
