www.xfacts.com...

i found that picture, and the site claims that is an "astronaut"

but it looks like a guy who is crucified.

so for those who know a lot about the Sumerian culture i ask you this

did the Sumerian had a kind of jesus character?

if they had, they we will have to add this sumerian jesus, to the list of similar heroes that movies like zeitgeist and the god who want there talk about.

Sumerian Gods list:

en . wikipedia . org/wiki/Category:Sumerian_gods - replace

I'm looking through them now to see if any of them was regarded as a type of Jesus-style prophet or something...

I couldn't find anything on a defininte prophet.. This seems to be interesting, has anyone any ideas?

edit: tagging parse problems as usual...

I've been meaning to start a thread on that very piece myself, just hadn't got around to it. I'm glad you did. Maybe we'll luck out and get somebody who is better versed in Sumerian mythology here to discuss it.
I know the picture was taken at a museum that was doing some kind of expo of Sumerian art, but other than I'm equally clueless. It seems it would be difficult to be a decent 'astronaut' with your hands nailed to a cross.
I've been working on a thread which goes briefly into the symbolism of the crucifix having come from the cuneiform symbol for a mushroom, www.abovetopsecret.com...

I always found it a little ironic that modern academia confirmed and borrowed from all of Sitchin's translations, except for the inconvenient parts.

I Found A Sumerian Goddess who has a similar story to jesus.
-Inanna-, was crucified, descended to the underworld, and then resurrected.

so what do u think? is this a sculpture of Inanna?

Remember, Google Inanna.
