The OA covered most of the basics.

The following are a few things that stood out to me.

- Object appeared to lengthen and then shorten.

- One observer stated that the object ascended at a 15 degree angle with the other saying a 30 degree angle.

-One observer believes the object changed trajectory while the other noticed no change.

-Estimated that object was travelling at 5 times the speed of any rocket that had been fired at WSPG.

-Manner of disappearance recorded as "Vanished".

-Officially recorded as a meteor sighting.

EDIT: Typo

page 1 records the white sands, new mexico sighting, dated 2nd oct 1951, of an amber coloured object by military personnel. speed estimated at 5 times that of a rocket and there was a halo surrounding the object. 2 contradictory reports of direction and angle by the witnesses. ticked box for 'was astronomical'. conclusion is typed 'meteor' next to this.

page 2 is a letter from col george a a jones to the commanding general of air material command naming 5 witnesses to the event.

pages 3 to 6 are the questionnaire. funnily, the witnesses were sitting on the steps of a building and were joking with some other men who had previously reported a strange light, when the object appeared.

it does seem a bit odd that supposedly trained military personnel cannot agree on it's direction or whether it remained in a straight line or changed course.
