Hey guys, just thought I'd let everyone know that I finally passed the national registry test for EMT-P. I'm finally a paramedic.
That was the most boring year of my life.

Probably would have been easier if I would have done this when I was a bit younger.

Just saw this.

Congratulations!!

I've been an EMT-B for 6 years now. Don't think I'd ever go that further step to P though because that class is just too long! I couldn't deal with it!

That takes lots of dedication. Good job and go save some lives!

Hey DJ,

I was an EMT-B for 28 years before finally doing this. In my years of retirement things have been quite boring. I actually just signed on with a paid ambulance service and I work 40 hours a week...mostly to keep busy.

From one NREMT-P to another. Congrats. I know how you feel. And the test is tougher now than when I took it, ten years ago. Never loose the NREMT part. It is your ticket anywhere.

Ahh you can do it. My department puts one one that is only 7 months long. There is a massive shortage here in Georgia of paramedics.
