If you got one of those cheap disposable lighters that has run out of gas, you can actually salvage the flint from there. It won't work as well as
the original Zippo flints though, because the cheap lighters usually have a harder flint. The Zippo flints are softer and spark easier.
you just got a new zippo and it don't spark after a few days?
the flints are supposed to last far longer than that?
is it a 'zippo'...not a fugazi.
stick a new flint in and see what happens. if it don't work, send t to zippo. they are lifetime warranty and thy will send you a new one, no
questions asked.
flints are cheap and easy to add. just open the bottom (where the fluid goes) and unscrew that little screw. pull out the spring, insert the flint,
rescrew, close spark.
be careful with the small flints. they sometimes get jammed when they are close to wearing down.
