The 14 Common Aspects of Fascism: Is the US Next?

Laurence Britt's famous examination of fascist governments during the 20th Century in Hitler's Germany, Mussolini's Italy, Franco's Spain, Salazar's Portugal, Papadopoulos's Greece, Pinochet's Chile and Suharto's Indonesia found that every single one of them shared fourteen common "convergence points" in their method of operation.

Those points are:
1. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism.
2. Disdain for the importance of human rights.
3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism.
5. Rampant sexism.
6. A controlled mass media.
7. Obsession with national security.
8. Religion and ruling elite tied together.
9. Power of corporations protected.
10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.
11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.
12. Obsession with crime and punishment.
13. Rampant cronyism and corruption.
14. Fraudulent elections.

Anyone notice an alarming number of those happening in the US?

Yes, but I believe its not going to last very long, thanks to so many people waking up to it thanks to the Internet and other alternate sources of information.

America still have free access to the Internet, which is why the rulers will eventually fail despite controlling everything else.

Also people are still allowed to criticize the government.

Since the beginning of Patriotism in the Revolutionary War.

2. Disdain for the importance of human rights.

4% of the GDP does not make much "supremacy".

Women were given important roles in Germany and protected from the military until the last possible moment...sexism? Try they were put on a PEDESTAL.

6. A controlled mass media.

Who is controlling what?

7. Obsession with national security.

Everyone is obsessed with this.

8. Religion and ruling elite tied together.

Name one country this isn't true?

9. Power of corporations protected.

The only place this isn't true is in the Communist world, it FAILED. And Nazis stole all the power of Corporations, the Corps had to do what the government said.

10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.

Um no, in fact Fascism is about empowering the worker.

11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.

Nazi artwork is incredible, have you ever seen Hitler's paintings?

12. Obsession with crime and punishment.

Nazism outlawed capital punishment.

13. Rampant cronyism and corruption.

This happens everywhere.

14. Fraudulent elections.

The US has never had a Fraudulent Election, ever.
