From what I read it's a member of the Herpes group, so yeah..pretty much everyone at some point in there life has had it, or a variant of it. They
are also known as cold sores or hepres simplex 1 the other variant is chicken pox. So if you had that , then you had a variant of it. It also includes
Mononucleosis (aka kissing disease)
