Major Changes to DC Metro Airspace

Effective Aug 30th, 2007.

For reasons of national security the U.S. government has made significant changes to the special use airspace surrounding Washington DC Metropolitan Area. These changes are effective 30 AUG 2007 and are considered permanent. IFR and VFR aircraft operations are affected including overflights as well as operations to and from the numerous airports located within the affected airspace areas.
