WASHINGTON — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, ACLU and others are warning of major disruptions when the federal government launches an illegal immigration crackdown next week with a flurry of letters notifying employers that some of their workers have suspect Social Security numbers.

www.chron.com...

Would this affect the economy?

I think so. How much money would this cost to big corp. who benefit from this? Construction industries would take a big decline as well the service industry.

Is this great news for the anti-immigrant community?

Would they realize that if this takes effect, this would increase prices on a lot services, products etc.

What do YOU think?

I think it's a dog-and-pony-show to mollify those upset with current policies and enforcement. "OHHH, look at what we're doing! Aren't we effective!". @%@%$
Typical textbook tactic run by the numbers. A band-aid on a massive hemorrhage. Anyone that believes this Official Government Authourized Tripe is deluding themselves.
