UCLEAR ANTENNA. A new calculation shows that x rays, produced at machines planned or under construction, might be convertible into gamma rays or other particles using a process that is analogous to what happens when radio waves strike an antenna.

Not exactly what one would want on the hood of their car for better reception but it seems to pave the way for more precise acceleraror collisions..with a beam no wider than an electron. I always wondered why regular antennas seem to give a tingle when running your hand along its length.
