POLITICS: Supreme Court approves 'informational roadblocks' by police

Topic started on 13-1-2004 @ 11:14 AM by NetStorm

Though this story will anger many here, if you read the entire story, you will see that even though it was approved, the Supreme Court, did have it's doubts.

"Three justices, however, expressed concerns that the ruling could open up motorists to police interference without yielding information about crimes."

However since the ruling did pass, what can we expect in the future?
Will it truly serve the purpose it is supposed, or will the police go "trigger" happy so to speak and throw them up because quotas are low?

The complete story here.
