Google's secret social networking experiment

have just heard from someone in a bar in Orlando, Florida who claims to be a Google employee that Google have launched a Social Networking site based around their own maps called www.dualearth.com

The site claims to be independent of Google but clearly uses their maps....the scripting used to make the map contains code that only a Google employee would know.......

Apparently Google are keen to tap into the social networking market so have produced this "beta" test version site...... www.dualearth.com www.dualearth.com

Google has had a Social Networking for a looooog time. it's called Orkit. You probably never heard of it, for some reason Brazilians love this site and they dominate it.

dualearth is just using google's map api, just like many other sites. (www.google.com...)

Besides the site is hosted at hostmonster.com... Google would not need hosting at a $5.95/mo host.
