Interesting article about quantum radio and photon entanglement:

www.esa.int...

Could it allow detection of instantaneous communication signals from similar devices used by aliens for interstellar communication? If there are any aliens, of course. Which there aren't.

Interesting experiment, though.

Quantum entanglement (QE) doesn't use radio waves. Two photons will be entangled and then separated. A change in state of one will be instantly seen in the other with no apparent interaction between them. This particular test was to determine if quantum entangled communications would work in a ground-orbit configuration enabling secure data links with satellites. It could be used to transmit encryption keys with a 100% secure link.

Although I do not believe this could be used to detect other QE systems, as we wouldn't be entangled with them. The nature of QE is such that anyone "eavesdropping" would change the state of the QE particles, thus rendering the data exchanged between them scrambled and unreadable.

Do you have any proof that we are alone in the universe?
