X-Ray Rainbows have been achieved for the first time.
This is very exciting news as it will allow the specific use of x ray wavelengths to make monochrome x rays, more percise x ray spectrometers, and time compressed x ray pulses.

I really cannot add a lot more to the original posting except it is a first and will have significant spin offs.

But then again the manipulation of the EM spectrum and its many varients is always exciting.

JL, corerct me if I am wrong but what is wrong with the resolution of nmr or infra-red spectrometers and conventional mass spectrometers? Will the resolution or sensitivity be enhanced by many magnitudes. Because thatwould be exciting.
