I have been reading and seeing some very disturbing stuff about how vulnerable our food supply is and with the recent contaminations of pet food I have became even more weary.

Could China and would China purposely contaminate our food supply to soften us up for a major war? Would the NWO allow mass contamination to cull the population? I wonder what types of secret stuff has been added to the food supply already?

It scares the hell out of me to think only 1-5% of our imported food gets tested! I also do not trust Chinese standards anymore and I wonder if they would use the food supply against us because it would be such an easy way to land a devastating first strike in event of major hostilities. As of last week I am no longer buying items food or otherwise from China if it can be avoided but so much stuff is imported its going to be difficult. I also would like to hear the FDA increase the amount of testing and increase the standards for human consumption. Who else is buying food a little more carefully?

I agree I would advise caution when buying anything from China. I read something last week that said over 70% of all computer chips are bought from China including Defense Dept CPUS.

Ive often felt like theres been standard drops in food testing and quality control! not just from imported foods but also from this country.

I have a few friends who have contracted crohn's disease and im hearing more and more people are getting it, aswell as other stomach problems!

I think you might be onto something here Sick :s

YES.

Our food supply is wide open. It is a soft target and it is a high-impact one. I'm VERY sure that enemies of America have plans in place to hit our food supply .. if they ever feel the need to do so.

So yes, I am concerned about it.

So one very well placed unnoticed device or defect could cripple sensitive stuff ? Thats a stupid security risk if you ask me and in this age of information and micro-technology I would want my defensive and secure network hardware developed at home strictly monitored by reliable government but I guess the term reliable government is an oxymoron lol.

I don't know if they are just plain stupid or have some evil genius plan unfolding but man they are very lazy when it comes to the things that are most vulnerable and then stress and waste money on so many idiotic things I don't want to waste my time naming them all! A chain is only a strong as its weakest link and we have some pretty weak links we need to fix.

How much of our food supply is actually imported?

I figured we grew enough corn, wheat, and potatoes to feed the whole population because we have so much farm land. Plus there are cattle fields all over the place.

Maybe homegrown is the only way to be safe. I'm sure that would be aproblem for city dwellers, but it may come to that.
