Tax protest backers vow to disobey

For supporters of Ed and Elaine Brown, a federal judge's decision to sentence the tax-protesting couple to 63 months in prison wasn't the big news Tuesday. In part, that's because it will have no immediate effect on the couple, who remain holed up in their fortified Plainfield home. Instead, the couple's supporters are reacting to an announcement by the federal marshal that anyone who helps the Browns evade capture might be subject to arrest.

"Now hear this, anyone that decides to send non parishable items to support the Browns, will be arrested for supporting a criminal."

Are they going to arrest the cub scout troops nationwide for collecting canned goods, of which just might make it to the browns?

The cub scouts aren't going to give canned foods to them.

Anyone who has the means to pay but does't pay their taxes should go to jail. Period. Anyone who supports them is guilty as well.

The threat was made that "anyone that supports the Browns will be arrested". That doesn't exclude the cub scouts if in fact they brought food to them.

Sounds to me like they are just begging for "Civil Disobedience".
