Since this seems like a good place for it, I'm going to post my ghostpic I that I took.

This was taken after dark in the Philadelphia Museum of Art Giftshop. Me and my friend Paul went to go through the building. Its most famous for being the steps Rocky ran up in the movie of the same name. Oh, and it has art in it, who'da thunk it? So well theres been stories that it was haunted, the stories vary. Some say it is haunted by a poet, others say the ghost is of Thomas Eaktins, of Gross Clinic fame. Great painting if you ever get a chance to see it, its simply amazing.

So anyways Alot of the stories revolve around a painter named Peter Andrew Callisman. Supposedly he was a nobody painter that had one hit painting, called pac, and nothing else. It was this abstract painting, kindof wierd, lots of blue and black, and little else. Well after everybody rejected him he bottomed out and began lingering in opium dens. Ends up losing his job as a copywriter clerk, then losing his wife to a divorce. He eventuallly hung himself in an alley behind the art museum on a gaslit lamp. So they say he haunts the place because they have his painting, and he lingers around it and about the building.

So me and Paul went there at night, we snapped pics of every room, and in the giftshop there was an anomaly. Its kindof hard to make out, but I'll show you it.

I think this picture is proof positive of paranormal activity in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Without further Auduo (is that how its spelled?)

....

My ghost picture...

Notice the humanoid shape in the back?

WolfofWar,

Haha, very funny picture. I enjoyed the laugh.

It may be a bit of a low blow to the OP, who may only be a bit gullible, but I can't help but keep laughing whenever I scroll to the picture.

Hmm, the title of the thread 'A possible Ghost picture I took last week' yet nick is the person responsible.... Interesting.

He said that he took them and his 'buddy Nick' uploaded them.

I am not defending the validity of the image. I am however, defending the OPs story of the photo's origin.

Misunderstandings like this could get an innocent poster warned and/or banned.

Actually your right, the story seems credible to me, much like the photo.

Was I attempting to say that the photo was credible? No.

I was simply pointing out and attempting to correct a misunderstanding that could be the difference between a gullible OP and a blatantly hoaxing OP.

It's too symmetrical to be smoke. I wouldn't doubt it's photoshop.

It looks like an image was pasted on the normal one, with a low opacity and motion blur.

These are the steps in making this image.

1. Take photo
2. Upload on Jasc PSP 8
3. Paste picture of video game character as a new layer
4. Turn to greyscale
5. Increase white balance
6. On upper layer, use the "Wind" effect
7. Merge layers using the effect "Hard Light"

What a horrible Photoshop job! It's laughable and depressing at the same time.

Dang, wish I got to this thread earlier. Whoever photoshopped this photo just got completely pwnt. And I agree with Paresthesia, change the saturation level, then the hue, then just motion blur it.
