China gas field disaster kills 191

BEIJING, China (CNN) -- At least 191 people were killed and hundreds poisoned when a natural gas well in southwest China burst and released a cloud of toxic fumes, medical workers, officials and state media said on Thursday.

More than 120,000 people died in work-related accidents from January to November this year, the official China Daily said earlier this,

I heard about this on NPR this morning. Sad. God I can't image what it would be like if that happened here in the usa. But you can bet you butt they would blame the Arabs until they found the exact cause.

Feel a little surprised that the whole story is disclosed by itself,the Chinese government ever tried to cover up SARS epidemic when it spreaded widely in GangDong last year.
