Why do I have to keep refreshing?

Hi
I have just recently changed my pc, upgraded to xp2. I am also running adsl now as the phone lines support it.

It is quite annoying that I have to keep refreshing the pages when I visit. If I click on recent posts for eg, then it doesnt give me updated list, as soon as I refresh it comes up. If I click on a thread, it will tell me someone has posted a new message but then it won't display it until I refresh that thread page.

Is there something I can do to avoid having to do this?

Hi Selmer2
thanks for your help with this.
I think I fixed it (fingers crossed)
I did a search on google about my prob and went to this tab and changed it 'to check for updates on page everytime'.
Hopefully its fixed.
I also checked the speed = 100 ks p sec so I don't think its that.
