a cave in australia has given up an amazingly huge fossil find of 69 different vertebrate species, some of which were unkown animals.

the unfortunate animals appear to have fallen down sporadic holes that appeared and disappeared and were either killed instantly or died of their injuries soon after.

the animals date from 400,000 to 800,000 years old
