JAKARTA, Jan 21 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck off Indonesia's Sulawesi island late on Sunday, the U.S. geological survey said.

Indonesia's meteorology and geophysic agency put the quake strength at 6.5 on the Richter scale and said it could pose a tsunami risk, according to a message from the agency received by Reuters.

The good thing about this one is that its pretty deep into the earths crust so hopefully will not cause to much damage, it was about 45k down,

which means that it should not move to much.

local areas should be the ones affected,

news coming in that 3 injurys have occured,

So fingers crossed that this will be ok,

again this does not comapre to the boxing day quake that was a mag 9
