Hello all. I have been lurking on these forums alot for the last week or so. Lots of good information here and I cant wait to read more. Im mostly into the alien and outerspace stuff but im starting to lurk around to others. I just had a question come to mind though. I saw one of the moderators names was majic and have been seeing this alot lately. Also seen it in the Disclosure video with the navy guy in japan. Is there a difference between Majic and Magic besides the spelling? Thanks for those that reply I look forward to meeting many of you.

Can someone help me? Ive been reading post and when I reply to people I would like there quote to come up in a grey box like everybody elses. How can I do that.

At the top of every post there is a "Reply" button, and a "Quote" button.

You need to use the "Quote" button on the post that you would like to quote, to have that posts contents within a quote box.

or you can use what is called "BB Code" to manually insert quote tags
Like this

[quote]the quoted text here[/quote]

will appear as:

the quoted text here

You can find more information about using BB Code in the ATS Handbook

Hope this info helps.

edit = clarity

Sorry but I have one more question. When I favorite or subscribe to a certain thread and I click the link in my favorites list, Is there a quick way to get to the last page instead of clicking a bunch of the numbers to get there? Most of the threads I go to are like 80 pages long

Sure is!

Here's a couple of ways to navigate to the last page of threads.

------------

In MyATS/ Favorites
All threads have a red thing that looks like this

>>

Click that to bring you to the last page.

Clicking on the title, brings you to the first page.
------------

From The Recent Posts page
, After the thread title, there are some numbers (for long threads) those numbers indicate page numbers.

Click on the last number, to get to the last page. Don't know why there isn't a >> on that page, but that's life I guess.

Clicking on the title here, also brings you to the first page, and clicking on the page numbers brings you to the respective page. (only a few page numbers are shown)

------------

AND at the Top and Bottom of Long threads, there is something that should look like this...

>

To get to the very last page, click on the >>

To get back to the first page, click on the

No need to feel inferior. We were all new once.

A good place to start, is the ATS Handbook

Also check out DontTreadOnMe's thread: Smokin' BBQ Threads

In that thread there is a veritable plethora of useful ATS links.

Welcome to ATS. I hope your stay here is as long and as enjoyable as mine has been.

I'm just a state away, right below you in Arkansas. Good to see some local folks joining in the fun
