Hmmm...

For owners of obese doggies, this might sound good...

But the agency found the formula does seem to help chowhounds absorb less fat.

But

The liquid's side effects can include loose stools, diarrhea, vomiting...

What ever happened to making sure fido has enough exercise, and making sure he does not eat more than is healthy for him?

I don't know, but this doesn't seem like a good idea.

Yeah, I read about that too.

I agree. Change of diet, and a little more exercise..just like People!

I had a cat, that died a few years ago at 12 years of age, a little young for cats.
..He was 38 pounds..his waist was almost the same size as mine..I know this because I measured it..I just had to know.
In his case, it was metabolic..he ate, and exercised as much as my other cats.
The vets said that he was mostly healthy, but I wonder, if an equivalent drug for cats, may have helped.
Maybe, just for extreme cases.
