LEE CATTERMOLE (Middlesbrough) - born March 21, 1988






Cattermole will be hoping to continue his excellent progress over the second half of last season by holding onto his place in the Boro first team. A central midfielder who can also play on the right, he cites Roy Keane as one of his heroes and adopts an all-action style similar to his Irish idol.

Lee Cattermole became Middlesbrough's youngest ever captain when he skippered the side in their 1-0 defeat away against Fulham on 7th May 2006. Sven-Goran Eriksson stated that he believes Cattermole has a "Bright future ahead of him" and many believe he will go on to become one of the best midfielders in the Premiership.
