Football: FA Charge Rovers/Chelsea

Chelsea and Blackburn have been charged by The Football Association with failing to control their players.

The charge relates to an incident during Chelsea's narrow win at Ewood Park on Wednesday when a melee ensued following an altercation between Petr Cech and Morten Gamst-Pedersen.

A brief statement on The FA's website reads: "Blackburn Rovers FC and Chelsea FC have both been charged with breaches of FA Rule E22a for failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
